Meet Gia

Hi, welcome to Leading Light Life Coaching! My name is Gia, and I am so glad you are here! For as long as I can remember, I have loved helping people! So let me share a little about myself.

I have worn and continue to wear many hats; wife, mother, business owner (successful and failed), and now a divorcee. Over the years, I have worked in education, travel, and mental health. Having a degree in Psychological Science, I knew I could help people more profoundly by pursuing a career in the mental health field.  While working with clients and assisting them on their journey was rewarding, there was still something missing.
 
I found myself being thrown some major curveballs in life and struggling to deal with them alone. Knowing I needed more help than what I could do for myself, meeting with a Psychologist every six weeks or talking to friends and family, I found myself a coach.
 
My coach held me accountable, helped me work through and remove blocks and traumas that cropped up along the way, and also helped me see life from the grandstand rather than from the field.  My coach kept me on track, ensuring I achieved my goals to rebuild my life. Apart from my education, it was the best investment I have ever made in myself! 

 

Not only was I able to move forward, but I also rediscovered who I am, and my true value. This one decision led me to find my 'calling' to become a Certified Results Coach myself; I had found my missing piece. Once again, I started to shine for the first time in a very long time. That's how much it helped me! I know that all sounds a bit cheesy, but it was incredibly liberating and empowering!
